After being mixed with water in the specified ratio, the material has good flowability, can spread naturally over the substrate, and helps improve floor flatness.
Application Process for Gypsum-Based Self-Leveling Mortar
1. Substrate Preparation
Before application, remove dust, oil, loose particles, and other debris from the substrate surface.
If there are obvious cracks, holes, or uneven areas in the substrate, they should be treated in advance according to the actual conditions.
2. Apply Primer
Depending on the substrate conditions and product requirements, a suitable primer or base coat can be applied to improve the substrate condition and help the subsequent material apply reliably.
3. Add Water and Mix
Add the specified amount of clean water according to the product instructions, and mix thoroughly until a uniform slurry with good flowability is formed.
It is not recommended to increase the water content arbitrarily just to improve flowability.
4. Pouring and Leveling
Pour the mixed material into the application area, let it flow naturally, and use professional tools to assist spreading. Pass a roller evenly over the surface to remove air bubbles.
After application is completed, cure according to product requirements, and only carry out subsequent floor work after the specified conditions are met.
